The living room has a new sleeper sofa, so the apartment will comfortably sleep up to four people. Guests will also have their own in-unit washer and dryer, high-speed internet, pack n' play, and high chair (for the little ones in tow)! Easy, free municipal parking is just 1/2 block away. On the ground floor of this historic building is "Spikes", which specializes in used vintage vinyl records, cassettes and cds.
We decided to name our new spot Within Reach because the apartment offers such incredible access to both the Hudson Valley and the Catskill Mountain regions. Main Street in the village of Catskill puts you within 30 minutes of beautiful hiking, the best skiing in New York, and a wellspring of historic and vibrant towns such as Hudson, Germantown, Kingston, and Saugerties.
Within Reach is our newly renovated, 2nd floor apartment on Main Street in the historic district of Catskill. Overlooking both the Catskill Creek and the Catskill Mountains, this floor-through apartment is just 10 minutes to Hudson, 5 minutes to three Nature preserves and 15 minutes to Kaaterskill Falls.
In the apartment, you'll find a spacious bedroom with all new furnishings and a balcony overlooking the Catskill mountains and creek, and a fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher.
I had a wonderful experience staying here. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect and the host was responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay. I would definitely book again!
